Anavery has Partnered with Providence Organic

Our Anavery Farm Store is almost ready. You are invited to check out the store during our soft launch beginning April 30. 

Since Autumn 2021, Anavery Fine Foods has relied on the support, community, and friendship of our beloved Meat Club members.  We’ve been eager to expand our customer base by offering regular hours for members of our community to purchase meat, eggs, dairy and other local products at your own pace. After six months of planning and some major infrastructure upgrades, we’re excited to announce our plans for expansion:

  1. We’re soft-opening our Anavery Farm Store to our email subscribers, friends and family beginning at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30. Our tentative plan is to be “soft opened” for two weeks while we work out any kinks and ensure we’re ready for the summer. Read below for more details.  Initial hours will be Tue-Sat, 1-6pm, or by appointment.
  2. We’ll be in the Sarah Hardy Farmer’s Market in downtown Traverse City this summer! See us every Saturday morning starting on Saturday, May 4.
  3. We’re partnering with Providence Organic as a CSA pickup location for their incredible Summer CSA. Click here to sign up for a share and choose the option to pick it up here at the Anavery Farm Store on Thursdays from 4-6 PM starting in June. Read more details below.

Our new Anavery Farm Store will be open to everyone, no subscription needed.  All of our delicious meat, poultry and eggs will be available for purchase by the cut and carton.  All of our partners’ dairy products will be available for drop-in purchase.  Over time, we will begin stocking other terrific local products like fresh vegetables and fruit, sauerkraut and other fermented products, and packaged seasonings and sauces.  (Also keep your eyes open for a colorful new addition to the Anavery family of products that will begin blooming on our farm in June.)

We are still offering our Summer 2024 Meat Club, which is currently open for subscriptions but will change in two distinct ways from previous Meat Clubs we’ve offered:

  • Meat Club pickups will take place in our store during store hours, tentatively scheduled for Monday through Saturday from 1 PM to 6 PM. We will likely have a small deep freezer in our old pickup spot for after-hours pickups if necessary.
  • Eggs, milk and cheese can now be purchased when you come by to pick up your bag.  We’ll have everything stocked for you to grab and pay for when you pick up your Meat Club.

Our Farm Store is a stand-alone cabin we’ve outfitted with the fridges, freezers and dry goods you love from our Meat Club, just available more often at your own pace.

Anavery has partnered with Providence Organic to be a pick up location for their summer CSA!

  • If you are considering a vegetable CSA this summer, we’re here to help. Anavery Fine Foods is a now a pickup location for the popular fruit and vegetable CSA.
  • Upon arrival at our store to pick up your share, we’ll be open and you’ll have the ability to purchase meat, eggs, milk and cheese from us directly to take home with your fruit and vegetables.

What do you get with a Providence Organic CSA? A rotating variety of Certified ORGANIC:

  1. Tender Greens (Spinach, lettuce mix, arugula, etc.). AND
  2. Herbs such as parsley, cilantro, dill & chives
  3. Alliums  (Onions: Red, yellow, two types of shallots, etc.
  4. A lot of different fruits and vegetables that are in-season here at the farm!  For example: Asparagus, snow peas, strawberries here in early summer, sweet onions, garlic, new potatoes, beets & carrots in mid-summer, Basil, tomatoes, garlic, watermelon, string beans in late summer… then we head into fall with MORE watermelon, all the different roots and squash, storage onions & winter specialty radishes!
  5. Provide offers substantial flexibility in their CSA to add and delete items and skip dates.
