Please re-read our email from April 5 here for all the details on our Summer 2024 Meat Club. We’re planning a soft opening for our Anavery Farm Store on Tuesday, April 30th from 1 PM to 6 PM, which will be open to current and former Meat Club Members, friends, family and anyone else who is curious about local meat. We’ll begin publicizing our hours once our systems are dialed in and we feel good about a wide launch to the broad community. Our current plan is to
Upcoming important news:
- Reminder that the Anavery Meat Club for May 1- August 31 is open for sign-ups to the Winter 2024 group only (anyone reading this email). Click here to sign up!
- Starting in May (new semester) we’ll have our Meat Club Members pick up their red bags during our retail hours, by appointment. or (if necessary) from a small chest freezer in the old pick-up location.
- FLOWERS are coming. We’re busy prepping a plot of land in our field near Secor Road to plant fresh cut flowers for the summer season. These will be available for wholesale, in our Farm Store and at the Sarah Hardy Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings this summer as they are ready.
- Reminder we’ll be in the Sarah Hardy Farmer’s Market this summer. We’ll be in a booth every Saturday during the season. Come say hi if you see us!

Your pasture-raised meat cuts are ready for pickup! Here’s what’s in your bag for Friday, April 19:
Lamb: A mix of lamb garlic bratwursts, Gyro-style sausages and spinach & feta sausages. You’ll also see some lamb sirloin steaks.
Pork: Polish sausages and possibly a few additional cutlets or boneless pork chops this week.
Beef: Sirloin tip steaks and ground beef this week. Our 50+ lb Members will see NY strips and possibly some ground beef this week.
Chicken: Summer isn’t here quite yet! Check out this great recipe for Chicken Pot Pie with Buttermilk Biscuits for a perfect spring Sunday Supper.
Eggs: Ever mix eggs and pork chops? We’ haven’t but we will this weekend with these Bourbon-Glazed Pork Chops topped with perfect fried eggs.
Cheese: World famous Boss Mouse smoked butter this week!
