The Meat Club

We’re so grateful you chose us to help feed your family.  We are a small family farm with big ambitions to provide the best tasting and healthiest meat, poultry and eggs in the Grand Traverse Region.

Your first box will be ready for pick-up next Friday, September 2.  But before that we are pleased to announce a members only farm tour, “Meet Your Meat,” on Monday, August 29.  Come out and tour the farm from 7-8:30pm with Adam Weinrich and Dave Waeltz.  Our team is growing and we are thrilled that Dave joined recently as Farm Manager.  Come out and see the animals, learn about our practices, and see where and how to pick up your food.

Payments

When you placed your order you chose to pay offline or by credit card, and installments or all at once.  If you chose offline, please send Venmo (@anavery) or bring cash/check.  Some people haven’t made their initial deposit so please be sure to do so.  The amount you owe (both total and first installment) are in your order confirmation email.  If you chose credit card, we had a problem with our Stripe processing and we probably didn’t receive your payment.  We will follow up with those to whom this applies.

If you are paying by installment, your second is due with the first box pick-up.  We will send you an email with your balance when the boxes are ready.

When can I pick up my meat?

Pickups occur on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.
For this subscription period the dates are:
September | 2 & 16
October | 7 & 21
November | 4 & 18
December | 2 & 16

We prepare your boxes Thursday night or Friday morning and they are ready for pickup mid-day Friday.  We will send out an email once boxes are ready.  There is no rush to pick up your box: feel free to come anytime after they are prepared.

Where can I find my food?

Every member has a number – find your number on the posted sheet.  Your meat will be in a red insulated bag in our glass door freezers.  Look for the one with your number on it.  Dairy is in the white refrigerator.  Eggs are in the fridge or on a table (depending on the weather).  We almost always have extra eggs; if you need more just leave money in the drop box or use Venmo.  If you’re not driving straight home it’s a good idea to bring a cooler.  You are always welcome to take home all or a larger portion of your order.  Just let us know by Thursday so we can set it aside.

Anything else I should know?

There is a $2/deposit for each glass bottle, which was added to your order if you ordered dairy.  Please return your empty bottles and take your deposit out of the envelope in the door of the fridge.
