Turkeys are in and we have a major inventory update.
Thanksgiving Turkey Ordering:
- Turkeys are on sale now! Now that we have a store on our farm, we won’t require and pre-orders or down payments. All our Turkeys are available in our store.
- We heard great feedback on our 2023 turkeys: they tasted delicious but they were huge! We timed our flock this year to trim down their size to better fit your oven.
- Birds weigh 15-20 pounds each. The turkeys will be sold frozen and our price is $5 per pound.
- Our turkeys spent their lives foraging on pasture and eating locally-sourced non-GMO feed. These birds were raised in northern Michigan on the same partner farm where our chickens are raised and help support local, family-run agriculture.
Inventory Update:
- Beef is now back in stock! All of your favorite steaks, expanded offerings in ground beef (regular ground and 100% sirloin ground), new packaging and some new steak cuts are now available.
- Thank you for your patience over the last 2 months while our inventory has been light.
- We have had an extraordinarily busy late summer/fall. Our in-store inventory has been really light for a few reasons: Wholesale orders are booming for local restaurants and stores. Our store has been busier than anticipated and we had a great farmers’ market season. RRR has been great and their busy season is early fall/late summer and it’s been hard to squeeze in more animals to process.
- We realized we needed to expand our processing options to keep up with demand. We’ll remain a partner of RRR Meats in Buckley and we’ve added Byron Center Meats in Grand Rapids as an additional processor.
New products in stock now:
- Brine and Vine, our sauerkraut supplier is now offering authentic fermented Korean Kimchi. If you’ve never had Kimchi before, we highly recommend pairing this spicy, fermented cabbage mix with our pork or beef. Jars are $14 each.
- We now have whole Muscovy Ducks in stock in our store. Ducks were just processed and look fantastic. Ducks are $9 a pound.
- Greek Gyro and Spinach/Feta lamb sausages are back in stock.
- Hot and Sweet Italian pork sausage is in stock in limited quantities.
- We also received a re-supply of bacon along with smoked ham hocks. We’ll have eve more pork available next week.

Pole Barn Expansion:
- Our new pole barn is coming together! We’re actively laying new plumbing and will get ready to pour concrete in the next week or so. Ask for a tour next time you stop by. This will be dedicated to egg processing space for wholesale and a small commercial kitchen.

Brine and Vine OOH-WEE Kimchi is here! This is some of the best Kimchi we’ve ever tasted. It’s extremely authentic to Kimchi we’ve tasted in Korea and Korean restaurants around the country. This pairs really well with our pork or beef.
